Collaborate
Business Design Concept and Research
What follows are some notes on the potential for collaborative research with one or more organisations, universities, etc. Currently, Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh is interested in collaborating on the research and potentially the development of a set of business tools.
In this instance, Adhart, a digital educational content publisher, social enterprise.
Adhart, as a business, is going to be inclusive by design. As a business that is inclusive by design*, if we can work with a disabled/neurodiverse master student(s), we will. My interest from the research side is what information and data currently exists and then how it can be applied in a methodical way.
The following are potential projects:

Adhart, as a business, is going to be inclusive by design. As a business that is inclusive by design*, if we can work with a disabled/neurodiverse master student(s), we will. My interest from the research side is what information and data currently exists and then how it can be applied in a methodical way.
The following are potential projects:
- ● A systematic literature review of inclusion in the workplace (globally what has been
done where, what data has been collected, how reliable is the methodology etc.) - ● A theoretical approach looking at neurodiverse and disabled workers through a lens
of a resource to businesses/the economy. Looking for areas of underutilised
value/capability (possibly in relation to home working/lockdown). - ● A statistical look at existing data sets to see if it is possible to quantify money
lost/gained by the (under) employment of neurodiverse and disabled people. - ● A project(s) making a contribution through collecting new data based on gaps in the
literature. Ideally working with a disabled/neurodiverse student(s) doing collaborative research with Adhart.
The purpose of the collaboration would be to create a set of guidelines or template around inclusion best practice, from the perspective of setting up an organisation that is inclusive by design (ideally in collaboration with Inclusion Scotland and/or Social Enterprise Scotland).
This is probably beyond the scope of a single master project, but could be divided up into more manageable complementary projects/workshops/activities etc.
